LOCATION: KELOWNA, BC
SEPT 20 – 23, 2026
Join a select group of First Responders and Military Leaders for an immersive 4-day Summit at Iremia Lodge.
Supporting Leadership Strength Summit
The Supporting Leadership Strengths Summit is a four-day leadership program held at Iremia Lodge in British Columbia’s Okanagan region, followed by a structured 90-day integration phase.
Designed exclusively by the leaders for First Responders leaders
This is not a conference. It is not a training course. It is immersive, experiential learning designed to equip leaders with frameworks, language, and practices that translate directly into the operational reality and self-care of First Responder leadership.
FOUR-DAY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT
Focused on self-awareness, leadership strengths, team performance, and creating healthy, resilient organization.
THREE MONTHS OF PERSONALIZED COACHING
Ongoing one-on-one support to implement strategies and drive meaningful change.
PRACTICAL TOOLS
REAL IMPACT
Leave with a personalized action plan to strengthen your leadership and support your people and your organization.
Who is this for?
The program runs in five distinct cohort types, with each cohort composed of eight peers at the same leadership level. This segmentation is intentional. The conversations that need to happen at each leadership level are different, and the psychological safety required for those conversations depends on being among true peers.
EXECUTIVE COHORT A
Chiefs, deputy chiefs, commissioners, assistant commissioners, EMS, corrections, and border executives’ leaders.
EXECUTIVE COHORT B
Union presidents and executives carrying strategic, labour, political, and organizational accountability.
SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHORT
For superintendents, inspectors, assistant chiefs, senior directors, and senior union leadership carrying divisional and departmental accountability.
Middle Management Cohort
For staff sergeants, sergeants, captains, managers, supervisors, and mid-level union leadership carrying operational team and unit accountability.
Front-Line and Emerging Leaders Cohort
For corporals, lead hands, acting supervisors, field training officers, peer support leads, and identified high-potential members stepping into or already carrying direct leadership responsibility.

ACCOMMODATION - IREMIA LODGE
Eight Leaders at the time, private rooms.
Iremia (means “tranquility) Lodge.
The lodge is located on the outskirts of Kelowna, BC, overlooking two stunning lakes and set within the landscape in a way that does much of the early work for us: slowing nervous systems, softening defenses, and creating space for honesty.
AGENDA
The summit spans four days, with three and a half days of structured programming. Arrival on Day 1 is intentionally unhurried. Departure on Day 4 is intentionally clean.
Afternoon arrival between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM
The first day is about landing. An Indigenous welcome to the territory. Decompression. Introductions among peers. Trust-building practices that establish the container for the days to come. Evening meal together. Early rest.
7:30 AM to 3:00 PM programming
The day opens with the Lumina Spark debrief — calibrated to the cohort’s leadership level — and moves into the program’s signature session: Identity Beyond the Uniform. This is foundational work. Before a leader can lead others well, they must know who they are beneath the role they carry.
7:30 AM to 3:00 PM programming
The most content-rich day. Frameworks include: The Trust Triangle and Psychological Safety LEAF communication model
The 13 Psychological Workplace Factors TARGET Hierarchy of Controls
Systems Thinking through the Iceberg Model Bridges’ Transition Model
Covey’s Zones of Concern, Influence, and Control
Every framework is debriefed through the lens of the cohort’s specific leadership level. Executives work the Iceberg Model at the level of strategic and political systems. Front-line leaders work it at the level of shift dynamics and team culture. Same framework, different altitude.
Concludes by 11:00 AM
The final morning is dedicated to consolidation. Each participant develops a Forward Commitment Statement specific to their leadership level. Leadership Pods are formed — small groups of four to five peers who will continue meeting through the 90-day integration phase. A closing ceremony grounds the work before participants return to their lives.
The 90-Day Integration (Coaching) Phase
The most common failure of leadership programs is that the learning evaporates within weeks of returning home. This program is designed to prevent that.
After the summit, every participant enters a structured 90-day integration phase:
- Six bi-weekly Leadership Pod meetings
- Individual coaching sessions with program facilitators
Supporting Leadership Strengths
STRONG LEADERS SHAPE ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE
STRONG CULTURES SUPPORT RESILIENT FIRST RESPONDERS
Enrollment
The Supporting Leadership Strengths Summit runs up to four times per year at Iremia Lodge. Each program serves one cohort of eight leaders at a single leadership level.
Cohorts form on a rolling, demand-driven basis. When eight leaders at a given level have confirmed their participation, that cohort is scheduled into the next available program window. We do not run partial cohorts. This protects the integrity of the peer experience and ensures every participant arrives into a full circle of peers at their level.
Expressions of interest are reviewed continuously. Most registered participants are placed into a cohort within three to six months. Registrations are held for up to twelve months; if a cohort has not formed in that window, participants are offered a full refund or the option to continue holding their place.
Next Step
If you are a First Responder or a Military leader considering this program — or an organization considering it for your leaders — the next step is a conversation.
